Eric is a freelance musician in the Bay Area. He has hundreds of theater show performances under his belt in addition to numerous jazz, and rock/pop group performances.

He is proficient on saxophones, flutes, piccolo, clarinets and oboe. He also plays a little EWI, but only on Monday nights.

About

The core is a Macintosh MacPro 2.88Ghz Dual Quad Core Xeon Processors with 8 gigs of Ram. A Proteus 1, Roland SC-8820, Roland XV2020, and Alesis NanoPiano provide some sounds, Garritan Jazz Band, Garritan Personal Orchestra stuff, and Kontkat 4 provide the rest. Project Mix I/O is the interface of choice and M-Audio BX8a are my speakers.

Software I use includes Digital Performer 7, Logic Studio 9, Finale, Sibelius, Band in a Box 2011, Reason 6 and Protools 10…..and I know I forgetting a bunch of others….

  • Selmer Mark VI alto saxophone with a vintage Meyer brothers mouthpiece (worked on by the late, great Jon Van Wie) with an Oleg ligature and Rico Jazz Select unfiled 3 reeds
  • Selmer Mark VI tenor saxophone with a Berg Larsen 110/2 hard rubber mouthpiece with an Oleg ligature or Guardala handmade MB1 mouthpiece and Rico Plasticover 3 reeds
